The Ralston Community Theatre announced a discount for Ralston citizens this week.

In honor of support from the community of Ralston for the Ralston Performing Arts Centre, the Ralston Community Theatre Board decided to offer discount tickets for anyone living in the Ralston school district.
Security pictures used to identify Feilding hotel patrons

Police investigating the slaying of Feilding friends Margaret Waldin and Ted Ferguson are using security camera footage to identify everyone in the hotel where the pair spent some time before their deaths.

Mrs Waldin, 76, and Mr Ferguson, 73, were found dead with stab wounds in Mr Ferguson’s flat on Sunday May 29.
They had been in the Manchester Tavern in Feilding two days before, on Friday night.
Masked gunmen rob discount store

Macon police are looking for two gunmen who robbed the Dollar General store at 3824 Pio Nono Ave. at closing time Friday and bound two female clerks with duct tape.

The gunmen, who were wearing masks and gloves, took the workers to the back of the store before leaving with an undetermined amount of money, said Macon police detective Jim MacDonald.
"It seems like they hid in the back of the store and came up on the girls," MacDonald said. "One of the girls was cleaning and the other was counting the money."

Since 2001, Weiss' company has been doing that under the name Crown Books. He rented a former furniture store at 415 Escondido Blvd. in Escondido in April and opened a Crown Books Liquidation Center, which has an inventory of 60,000 or so books from dictionaries to novels, children's books to books on tape. There is another in Vista at 1861 University Drive.
